The hotel is stunning in a beautiful setting. The pool and thermal circuit were wonderful. Our room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. We really appreciated Louis' help, who gave us a brief tour of the hotel upon our arrival and helped us out with a restaurant recommendation when the hotel was unable to accommodate us for dinner. He was very friendly, helpful and informative.

With the exception of Louis, we were extremely disappointed by the rest of the staff. We found them to be rude and unhelpful. Supposedly the restaurant was fully booked for dinner (which took them all afternoon to confirm as they seem to have a very disorganized/non-existent booking system), but there were clearly plenty of tables available when we walked by in the evening. They didn't offer any suggestions for alternatives and didn't even bother to mention that there was also a bar menu which offered food. Upon checkout, they stood by blankly as a kind hotel guest helped my elderly mother, who uses a walking stick, with her luggage, while I completed checkout. We were shocked. It really put a dampener on our entire experience.

This is a lovely property from a bygone era. It interior is very elegant with many cozy spaces to enjoy. The breakfast staff were very accommodating to ensure we were on time for my niece's wedding at another venue.

The rooms were a bit small but in keeping with the age of the property.
