Wonderful surroundings with a beautiful, well-maintained private garden and lovely paths to explore. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality fresh products, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, avocado, croissants, cheeses and cold cuts. The rooms were very comfortable and the lounge had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Coffee, tea, still and sparkling water, drinks and yoghurts were available for guests to help themselves. There is also a swimming pool, sauna and gym, although we didn't have time to use them. The beautiful wine cellar with a selection of excellent wines is another lovely extra. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Paris is only about 30–40 minutes away by car.

Very little. The beautiful wisteria around our balcony was quite overgrown, making it difficult to step outside and enjoy the view. The garden itself is beautiful and very well maintained, although some of the trees and branches partly obscure the wonderful distant views towards Paris. Some subtle pruning would open up the views beautifully. The lower woodland area could also use a little more attention, especially as the lovely paths make it such a nice place to explore.
