Ristrutturato nel 2017, Blue Oak Cottage è affascinante ma con servizi moderni. Situato su una caratteristica strada alberata, il cottage è situato a pochi isolati a piedi da Donnelly Street e dal centro di Mount Dora. Il cottage è completamente arredato, 650 m² di spazio vivente con una cucina ben attrezzata, angolo colazione, lavatrice e asciugatrice full size, soggiorno, 1 camera da letto e 1 bagno. Lo spazio esterno comprende un portico schermato di 200 m² con mobili e un patio pavimentato separato con sedie Adirondack e una griglia a carbone. Un letto queen-size e un divano pieghevole possono ospitare fino a 4 persone. Il proprietario abita sul posto, nella casa principale.

Amazing little cottage, not far from downtown Mount Dora!! Owners did not forget one little detail! They even provided snacks & a bottle of wine!:) You will not be disappointed!

The hosts have created the perfect cozy cottage setting for your stay in My. Dora. The cottage is immaculate with everything you need and everything you need is easy to find. So organized and even had the cutest little decorated Christmas tree to add to the spirit of the season.

What a lovely stay at the cottage. Super clean and everything we needed and more! Tags on cabinets made it very easy to find things. Used the bikes, which were very well maintained, to ride downtown. We also walked as well which was only about half a mile away. Owners went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and no detail was missed. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The cottage was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. These owners thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay and spared no expense from the plush bath towels to the gourmet tea and snack bars, to the extra phone charger. The location was also fabulous - safe convenient parking just steps from the cottage and a short walk to everything in downtown Mt Dora. The hosts were also exceptionally communicative. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

Theresa & Todd Vandre have created a very special atmosphere in the Blue Oak Cottage. They thought of everything imaginable to make their place welcoming and as close to home as possible. Our 3-night stay was the highlight of our road trip. We are grateful for the opportunity to have found Blue Oak Cottage. Thanks a million!

I've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this was one of the best. They paid a lot of attention to details - great shower with nice & abundant towels, fully stocked kitchen with all the spices, 2 A/C's & a Dehumidifier, tags and instructions for everything. The small things make a big difference and these Hosts paid great attention to all the details. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and in a great location, just a few minutes to downtown.
I loved how they used a digital lock for entry & exit - no keys needed. Their communications via email were excellent and we didn't need to contact anyone.

This cottage is lovely, clean and well maintained. The location of the cottage is in a lovely part of Mt Dora & it’s an easy walk or drive into down town.
Everything that you need is provided by Teresa & Todd & the cottage is well worth a visit.

The cottage was adorable. It is extremely clean and well kept. Having a large shower instead of a tub is a huge plus. The owners have left everything you might need and more in the cottage. They are very easy to communicate with also. It is a perfect location close to downtown Mount Dora and the springs. I would highly recommend staying here. It is lovely.

The pictures do not do this place justice. EVERYTHING & i mean EVERYTHING in this place was SO NICELY put together! I could not think of one thing that would make it better. Its a GREAT location to all the shops. My boyfriend and i had a 4 min bike ride to a delicous breakfast spot, the rental itself was just perfect from the designs, the functions, appliances, attention to detail... all was wonderful!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about our recent stay at Blue Oak Cottage! We have stayed here previously and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mount Dora. Hosts Teresa and Todd have made this fantastic cottage into a homey, comfortable retreat in every way possible. They have thought to include everything you could think of to make your stay a perfect one. The cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a large kitchen with all the amenities and a huge outdoor screened patio for dining or just hanging out! The cottage is an easy walk into downtown Mount Dora with its cute shops and numerous dining options. Don’t miss out on this gorgeous cottage if your plans include a stay in Mount Dora! My husband and I stayed a few days for our anniversary. It was not only clean and inviting, but the owners created an atmosphere with so many unexpected details that it made our stay even more pleasant than we expected. We also loved the area and explored it on the bikes that were provided and with walks. Very relaxing, and we hope to return!

Exactly as shown. They’ve thought of everything! All you need is a toothbrush. Perfect location! Walking distance to downtown. Fantastic streatery 3 blocks away.

Blue Oaks Cottage was a perfect oasis. It supplied everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfortable and the screened in porch was a great addition. The lighting from the lanterns at night gave the porch an inviting feeling.
I would definitely stay there again.

This was my second time staying at the cottage. Everything was perfect both times! There’s nothing I can think of that could have been improved. Great location! Todd and Theresa are super friendly and helpful. I plan to make it an annual visit. 😃

Came here with my Aunt for 2 nights during the spring craft festival . It was less than a mile to walk to downtown. Everything in the cottage was perfect! Lots of “extras” and very clean. Teresa was quickly responsive to any questions. Check in & out was seamless .

This is one of the best rentals I’ve had the privilege of staying at, and I stay guest homess quite often. The owners have thought of absolutely everything you could ever need. Whenever we found ourselves wishing we had something, it always ended up being right there. The hosts were awesome! Very friendly and great communication. The unit was super dog friendly and very cute. The location was perfect for a visit to Mount Dora. I can’t wait to come back!!

Teresa and Todd are the best hosts you can ask for.
They created the ultimate home away from home. As soon as you arrive in front of the property you know you made the right choice. Everything looks just beautiful. Both put a lot of work into the cottage. They thought of literally everything you could wish for. Teresa labeled everything so you can find what you are looking for right away. Therefore you can enjoy your stay a lot longer. I cannot find enough words for how flawless everything is. I think you just have to see for yourself.
As for location, the town of Mount Dora is beautiful. There is a lot to see and do there. The bikes which come with the cottage are perfect for exploring.
We cannot thank Teresa and Todd enough for making this trip so special. We will definitely be returning guests and are already excited when we can visit them, their cottage and the beautiful town of Mount Dora again.

This was our best experience! The cottage was so well organized and just perfect! We didn’t utilize the convenience of walking downtown because of the summer heat but it was definitely walkable! We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!!❤️

Best VRBO Hosts EVER
We loved our stay! Todd and Teresa could give classes on how to be the best possible hosts! The property was well stocked with quality furnishings and supplies with clear instructions and labeling on everything. Two very nice bikes were included in this! It was clean and orderly and had all the supplies of basics that many VRBOs don’t…coffees, creamers, soaps, and then non basics like some water bottles, beers, seltzers, wine, and snacks as well! They were fantastic communicators and offered suggestions about the area.
The location is PERFECT. We could walk or bike to downtown and to Lake Dora. I would highly recommend this booking to anyone and hope to return!

Todd and Teresa both were so easy to work with, providing quick and responsive communication throughout. The cottage is just a few blocks from Donnelly St in Mt Dora, which is where all the good shops and restaurants are located. I rode one of the bikes down there, but there's also now a golf cart transportation option. It's maybe 15 min if you walk. The lighthouse and boardwalk are a few more minutes away. And there's free parking throughout the area if you really want to drive.
The cottage itself is clean, well stocked with all the little details you might need, and all the instructions needed so you can settle right in and feel at home. The bed was comfy, the shower was easy to use with excellent water pressure, and the kitchen had just the right amount of "stuff" for doing what you need without getting swamped with too much clutter.
I wish I could've stayed for a week instead of just a short weekend--this place is amazing! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
