Cedrus Hotel

We had a nice stay here overall. The location is definitely the biggest highlight — the hotel is right in Antalya Old Town, very close to the bar and restaurant area. Within just a 2–3 minute walk, there are tons of great restaurants, cafés and bars to choose from, so it was extremely convenient for exploring the area and finding somewhere to eat. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, but that also comes with a few drawbacks. Our room was quite small, especially the bathroom, and the curtains didn’t block out much light. Housekeeping also didn’t seem to come every day during our stay. There is no elevator, and our room was on the second floor, so the two of us had to carry our large suitcases upstairs by ourselves — definitely a bit of a workout! 😅 One unexpected highlight was the hotel’s adorable cat. She was extremely cute, although she somehow managed to steal a fluffy keychain from my bag and disappeared with it. I never got it back, so I guess she decided it was hers. 😂 Overall, this is a good choice if your priority is location and you want to stay right in the heart of Antalya Old Town. The facilities are fairly basic and the rooms are on the smaller side, but we didn’t have particularly high expectations for a historic Old Town property. For us, the fantastic location and easy access to so many restaurants made it a pleasant stay.

Cedrus is in a great area close to the bars, restaurants and shops, short walk to to harbour and other local attractions.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was always clean

Lovely breakfast. However was inflexible time if early departure for tour so we missed out on breakfast on one day.

Tiny bathroom. Not accessible for people with a wide beam.
