From the time I booked until I checked out, I was super impressed with the communication from both Ed and Tamara. As a multi time vrbo renter - I can say this was the best communication and willingness to meet my requests I’ve ever experienced.
The house was super well equipped with great appliances. Everything was new and clean and in amazing shape. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to experience all that York offers.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the carriage house in York, Maine. It was clean, roomy, and well equipped. Best of all, you can easily walk to Short Sands Beach and to the downtown area. For a slightly longer but still lovely walk, you can go to Nubble Lighthouse (well worth the visit!). At night, if you sleep in the front bedroom, you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Be sure to eat at the Sun and Surf Restaurant on Long Sands Beach. My only word of caution would be the parking, which is tight throughout York, but Ed, the owner, was very accommodating and allowed us to park a couple of cars in the back as those cottages were empty. My friends and I are hoping to return to the carriage house next year!

Three generations came together to celebrate our daughter’s 40th birthday. The location of the house is perfect, close to town and the beach. The unit is clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We were able to spread out over 3 floors and enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard as well. We would definitely recommend this property. It was a memorable weekend for all!
