The view is amazing, it's a peace an quiet place. The service is really good. Rooms are clean and confortable.

The location is up on the hill and I didn't find any taxi to get there in the front door. The taxis that I asked told me that as the street is narrow not many vehicles could enter. So the most part of the time you have to walk. The breakfast is served since 7.30am but the tours usually started 7am. If you ask the hotel personal could arrange some food to serve you earlier.

What I like about this property is that it’s in the San Blas area of Cusco, it has a beautiful entrance into a courtyard where the reception is, the staff are friendly and very helpful, and Google translate was my best friend. I was shown two rooms and I chose the one that I wanted. The breakfast was fantastic and really filled me up for the morning the coffee and the tea and there is Coca tea with the real leaves, and they will cook you eggs. I also love the fact that the shower is hot. The bedding was warm and clean and the room was perfectly adequate just for me. It was also my first experience in a hostel and it has been a good one. I’ve cancelled the hotel that I booked and I’m returning there after I’ve done Machu Picchu, as my property has been stored there and I love the atmosphere, the view is stunning of Cusco and it’s away from all the crazy traffic.

Only because of my fitness levels the stairs, but once my body had adjusted to the altitude, I was okay up and down them. The actual property itself is located quite high in the san Blas area so you really do need a good set of lungs and a pair of legs on you. I’ve added a few photos of the surrounding area which is beautiful, but you do have to climb some stairs.
