I liked the location , very well at Alfama and near the port and train station
I did not like, first that the management were not there until my arrival and I had to pick the kids like 15 minutes away in an up hill. That was around 7pm. They dont have lock box but in addition I have never had to go and pick keys so far at those times.
I did not like the smell of the room, it smelt not only to humid but also to tobacco.
In addition there is not AC or Heater which contributed to constant humid and tobacco smell
The bathroom door handle is broken so if you close the bathroom completely , it will be a hard time to open it

Excellent location. Staff was flexible allowing me to check in at 1 pm instead of 4 pm after arriving at 8 am on a red eye when it was pouring rain.
Apartment was smaller than anticipated (don’t see how it can be used by more than 1 person). TV didn’t work. Entrance to building is next to a slick slope of tile sidewalk which is a challenge with luggage in the rain.

Next to the center and to the public transport
The room and the bathroom are super small, there are only two single beds.
You can either sleep or eat!
