Es waren genügend Parkplätze im Hof vorhanden. Das Motel hat einen sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Um mein Anliegen hat sich schnell jemand am Telefon gekümmert und wir wurden upgegradet. Die Lage im Grünen am Stadtrand war für uns optimal.
Eher Motel statt Hotel. Unpersönlicher selfcheck in.
Man hat die Musik von irgendwelchen Nachbarn trotz verschlossener Fenster gehört. Die Verdunkelungsmöglichkeit am Fenster hat nicht sehr dunkel gemacht. Der Duschgelspender in der Dusche war leer. Zimmer recht klein/eng. WLAN laut gästeblatt konnte ich nicht finden- funktioniert wohl nur im Haupthaus.

Das Zimmer im EG war eng, es roch aus dem Bad nach Kanalisation, ich mußte zuerst mit der Terassentür lüften.

Sunny Hotel is very conveniently located close to the highway and is perfect place to spend the night during long travel. The check-in happens via a terminal so it is possible to arrive at any hour.

we’re returning guests at Sunny Hotel Straubing and it’s always such a godsend on our long trip. easy to check in, very affordable, clean, comfortable and they allow dogs.
During our last two stays the pillows in the rooms were a little hard, like the foam inside them got hardened. maybe time to change?

Breakfast consisted of croissant & coffee left for patrons to help themselves (thank you). (Remotely located) staff provided answers to questions promptly and helpfully (thank you)
The hotel is rather like a hostel for workers, immigrants, students etc. It is certainly not good for families. Apart from the “breakfast” (see above) there is no food on-site so we had to take a taxi to a nearish restaurant. While this set-up might suit some persons we felt there should have been a warning as to what to expect (if there was we missed it). We arrived on our bikes when it was raining which may have coloured our impression, but for the first 90 minutes we were debating whether to forego the cost and find another hotel. We were NOT happy.

Have booked the property last minute. Not received the self check in code till next day so couldnt check in. No stuff or any customer service were available. We have lots the money as booking.com were also unhelpful with resolving the issues.
Do not recommend this place and be not using booking.com either

The property was small but offered everything we needed; even two separate (tiny) bed rooms. This is perfect for a group of four.

We stayed at a mobile house. Everything was clean and new. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing for this money. Only maybe parking near the hotel.
There is no reception. People check-in at the machine and they don’t check any documents. There were many rooms occupied by men living there for a long time I suppose. They were laughing, smoking, shouting all night!
As a family with children we felt very unsafe. They were playing ping pong just in front of our window on the ground floor at 12 pm and smoking.
It the room there was no air-conditioner. The room looked different from photos, very small.
The terrace was so dirty, we didn’t let children out.
Highly not recommend!

Pretty clean and comfortable hotel. They provide free coffee 24/7 and croissants at the breakfast.
It could be a little bit closer to the city, but overall it's quiet place.
Maybe smell from farm next to hotel sometimes is to bad

The booking system is TERRIBLE, 2 years running our booking has been confirmed but the self service check in hasn’t worked. After driving 16 hours and 700 miles to not be able to get in the building is VERY stressful. Both times I’ve had to ring and ask for help. This year my phone battery was running out and the man said he would ring me back after he had sorted out the problem but he DIDNT. I had to borrow another customers phone and ring again, more stress on top of exhaustion is not good. Young lady sorted the issue but we stood in the rain waiting to get in for nearly half an hour. It’s just so difficult having no one to speak to face to face when there’s a problem. I won’t risk your facilities a 3 time. Shame really as it’s a great venue

Very clean and tidy, easy check in, free coffee, tea, microwave is also there. Big parking, very quiet place. Spot on.

- Some guests were very noisy until late in the evening. Probably encouraged by the self check in and the absence of staff

It was so difficult to book in without having a real person to help. I had to make 3 very costly phone calls before I could access our keys.
