Het personeel was aardig en begreep totaal waarom ik niet tevreden was toen ik het ze uitlegde bij het uitchecken
We hadden inderdaad een rustige kamer gevraagd, dit was totaal niet gelukt omdat we pal aan het parkeerterrein de kamer hadden op de begane grond. Iedereen die aankwam of wegging hoorde wij. Voor de prijs hadden wij een simpele kamer verwacht maar deze was ronduit vervallen, smerig (door oud te zijn, iets wat niet snel schoon te maken is) en kapot. Het gordijn viel bijna van de rails, er zat een gat in de muur boven het toilet, het bureau was behoorlijk beschadigd en de badkamer was verder ook nog behoorlijk vervallen en daardoor niet hygienisch. De volgende ochtend zag ik pas dat er ook nog een gat in het beddengoed zat.

Dit keer was het niet zo schoon en de kamer bleef warm ondanks kachel uit.
Geen korting ondanks dat ik er vaker kwam. Bovenstaande maakt prijs/ kwaliteit niet in evenwicht.

Nothing apart from the staff and the food. I have to mention that this place is a motel and well past its hay days. I don't think this place has been a hoover and cleaning products in years. Pictures are probably 20+ years old and looks nothing like this real life. Despite this, staff members are exceptionally good. May be they know how bad the place is and they sympathise with you. Another good part was the restaurant. Not cheap but the food was great and chef there is friendly and knowledgeable. We were booking in for 2 nights and with in 10 mins we wanted to check out. No aircon and the room is filthy, bathroom not clean, cobwebs everywhere, the mattress is full of springs.... I can go on about it. Anyway we had to stay there for that night as it was quite late but the next day morning we checked out and the staff offered us a refund for the 2nd night. To summarise, great staff members and good restaurant but pricey. Bad and unclean rooms. I won't be staying there again. I do feel for the staff members though.

It was on a walkable distance from the nearest Metro station and Rotterdam Alexander. Breakfast was okay.
The hygiene was bad in the room. One of the days they forgot towels after changing. Bring earplugs because it's at a main road so you can't leave the window open. Sadly no air-conditioning so it's hot in the room.
Place in general needs to be renovated.
Photos on booking looked way better.

The food at the restaurant was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near train station.
I wish I would have know the room did not have air conditioning. It was hot and hard to sleep.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The accommodation does not look so good. Some colleagues mentioned the cleaning was not good, although I had no reasons for complain.

Location was good
Building was old, no cleaned. Washroom had nothing to clean toilet. Room was just okay and quite small with no charging point/switch board near the bed

The man at the reception was very friendly!
Needs renovation. For that amount of money, you expect a better hotel. Walls are badly isolated, so you can hear a lot of noise coming from the outside. For the same amount of money I have been to better hotels.

Staff were very nice and kind.
The room was not clean! There were earrings from the previous people I guess. And there were spots everywhere.

Disorganized - they first gave us a room which wasn't clean and the second was a single bedroomroom eventough we booked a double bedroom. The room has been cleaned only superficially - full of black mold and spiderweb's, room hasn't been cleaned the whole stay (3 nights) only towels were replaced (they replaced only two towels instead of four)

Avoid at all costs. The room beside us was having a party from 11 pm - 6 am. We called the reception several times and they said they will check it. We waited for another hour and called again they didn't knew which room was having a party. Even asked the staff to come in and hear where the noises were coming from and yet again they said they will check it. This went on for 5-6 hours and we couldn't sleep for a minute. Until we asked the staff for another room... and the saga continues...they gave us the card for another room we tried it and it didn't work, went again to the reception and got another card for another room. We open the door and someone sleeping there.... we don't know what to add more for this awful experience.

Cozy room, good big bed. The room is warm. You can smoke right on the balcony near the room - like an open passage. The staff is very responsible.

nice stay breakfast was all round okay staff was nice and friendly :) will be back defiantly in the summer to stay there again

There are limits to the amount of electricity, the water limit, the bathtub faucet is blocked on purpose. when you get to the room, you are warned not to consume water, electricity, and even phones are prohibited during the evening, so no battery on the phone. The cleaners entered the room after half past one in the morning without knocking on the door. . a disaster!!
