For a budget friendly hostel, it is excellent
There was nothing not to like at the price that we paid
Reception staff Louis was very, very sweet
There is a complete Kitchen with equipments. You can carry frozen food or just even any kind of uncooked food and finish. There is also Cuttery plates glasses. Absolutely no problems. There is also free tea coffee, till 10 PM

Room was comfortable , it was warm at night but we opened a window and there was also a fan. Clean sheets available, clean bathroom
A reading light at the side of the beds would be nice , saves waking people up when someone comes into the room and puts the main light on. The bar could have been cheaper :-)

Perfect location for a stroll around York, small shops nearby and access to the kitchen is a good help for saving some money on eating out. Plenty of entertainment with board games, puzzles, instruments and a tv in the lounge. Lovely helpful staff.
Nothing, the place is a good value for money.
