Great location above Thun Lake with awesome views facing the top peaks of the Alps
A 20 minute drive to Interlaken with a car or a local bus (free ride)
Very warm hospitality by Linda and Danny who helped us choosing unique paths around and made our visit to the area so successful

Hotel Fassbind was phenomenal. The room I had was fantastic and had a great view over the mountains. Breakfast was great everyday, and each morning there was a different element added to breakfast either from one of the guest's countries or a special treat from Switzerland. Dani and Linda were outstanding and made me feel so welcome for my stay and always had great recommendations for what to do around the area. Would not stay anywhere else in Interlaken!

The staff and Dani were particularly friendly and welcoming. We listened to countless enjoyable and informative stories from Dani. Breakfast was very pleasant with something special every day. The view of lake Thun and the mountains from our room was amazing! The room furnishing was charming and vintage collector level family heritage level. So much so we were a little concerned we would break something.
The restaurant was closed so no dinner or lunch: only breakfast. The hotel is a good ten to fifteen minute drive from Interlaken so dinner would have been rather nice an option. Ultimately the hotel felt like it became more of a bed and breakfast setup and so for the price paid we thought it rather on the expensive side for what it was.
