Good breakfast, nice pool and parking facilities. Location was excellent and walking distance to everywhere.

Gym facilities were a bit poor, the rooms appearance has aged a bit.

Everything was great. Very short walk to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, bakery. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was excellent. Price was very good in relation to the stay. It has an elevator. 24 hour coffee machine. Parking and the wifi worked well.

The headboard was very uncomfortable while sitting in the bed using the laptop. The wall night lamps were not reachable from the bed. Minor things. The place was very nice for the superior room with terrace.

i liked the facilities and the bed was comfy

the main problem was one of the particular members of the staff. the women in morning on the reception and the male in the evening were both polite, but the woman during my stay that worked the afternoon was the rudest woman I had come across in San Jose and would not return to the hotel. as a benchmark, I stayed at casa Blanca (think that was the name) before and had an amazing stay. i visited San Jose to visit some friends which had recently moved to the town, I came alone so paid for a larger room as you can’t get a discounted single person room and booked a room with facilities such as pool etc. when I arrived, I was situated on the ground floor which had a small balcony, which you could step over. next to it was the pool, on day one I stepped over the wall and the receptionist came out and started yelling at me, I explained that there was no sign you couldn’t step over the wall so I didn’t know. later on, me and my friends were going to use the pool as no one was using it, and she yelled again saying they could not use the pool. i said I wasn’t aware as the other hotel we stayed at was fine with it, she said there was nothing we could do. i explained I paid for a larger room so why couldn’t I add an extra name down on my booking, she reluctantly did this but then refused my other friend entry into the building, even when we popped in for 5 minutes to change clothes from the beach into restaurant ware, he would have to sit outside the hotel. when we had a problem with the pool, she explained that they needed to have the name down to use the facilities (pool and spa) that was fine, but based on that conversation we assumed we could also use the inside hot tub because she didn’t explain it was an extra cost. we went down to look around, no one was on the door to the down stairs hot tub and we walked past the same woman who said nothing when walking downstairs towards the facilities but once we stepped in there.
