Good breakfast. Location of hotel was close to Whitley Bay promenade and local facilities.

It was in a great location. Just a two minute walk from the Playhouse. Two minute walk to the seafront and the craft pubs in the Spanish City. Room was well set out and the lounge and dining area clean and tastefully decorated. Nothing too much trouble for the host and the breakfast was lovely. I opted for the full English but there were pastries cereals fruit and yogurt available to help yourself to. Would recommend staying here.
Parking was limited but it says that on the website. There’s free parking 50 yards away or you can pay to park on the street for 50 per hour. Free after 17:30 until 9 am.

The breakfast is excellent - good quality ingredients, lots of choice and served promptly.
My room was not cleaned or tidied at all during the three days of my stay, something which I have never before experienced at a hotel. The room only had cheap vertical blinds in one window, making it very light early in the morning. Bathroom was small, basic and badly lit.
