New World Saigon Hotel

Stayed in a Club room with lounge access on 10th Floor; Room was a decent size but smaller than many other Club rooms in other hotels; very clean and comfortable; bed slightly on the hard side ; Bathroom clean and good amenities; evening lounge buffet amazing and extensive selection of food provided. Nice views from balcony outside; Staff all super helpful and friendly

This hotel was great value for money. We upgraded our room and had use of the Executive Liunge. That was outstanding and we used it both days for Happy Hour. Very impressive. The only thing I could fault was our check in experience. When we arrived at the front desk we were escorted to the Executive Lounge for check in. This took quite some time and we weren’t offered a cold drink just told to sit and wait. I had to then go and ask why it was taking so long as there were just 4 staff standing around chatting. The young man eventually came and handed us an envelope and said read this it contains any information we may need. This I thought was unprofessional and he should have gone through the facilities of the hotel and the contents of the letter like other 5 star hotels. Poor communication. Apart from that a very pleasant experience.

Club lounge very good. Staff mostly friendly.

We were talked into upgrading the room. I take responsibility but the receptionist didn't speak English very well so I misunderstood him and thought it a good deal. It was incredibly expensive for what it was. I would avoid this place. There are plenty of cheaper options, with HCM being so affordable to charge these prices is just unreasonable.
