Perfekter Platz.

The location is unbeatable, just a few meters from the Basilica, which is the main reason we chose this place. Additionally, the hot water worked perfectly, and a long, hot shower was the only saving grace to help us warm up after freezing all day.

Unfortunately, the human element of this establishment was deeply disappointing. Right from the start, the host/receptionist was aggressive. Even though I called to explain that I had made an error with my booking, there was zero willingness to help, offer a solution, or even provide a voucher for future use.Furthermore, the advertising is highly misleading. The profile claims there is a 24/7 reception and a breakfast option available for an extra fee—neither of these exist. The check-in is entirely virtual, and no physical staff is present. The worst part of our stay occurred at night. The apartment is located on the top floor in the attic, and the outside temperature dropped to 7°C. The heating was completely non-functional. I sent messages via both Booking and SMS politely requesting an extra blanket since there were none in the room, but my requests were completely ignored. Leaving guests to freeze without a response is unacceptable. It is often said that while knowledge can be acquired at school, good manners and basic human decency are learned at home. If you are looking for a welcoming environment and a decent human being near the Basilica, you will not find it at this hotel. I forgot to write that the instruction to get in it was in German language and I didn’t understand it because the translation did not work properly in the moment to do that and he explained me that in Austria the people speak German. Muchas gracias
