Everything. The amenities, the service, the food, the stunning backdrop of the mountains against the sea, the beautifully designed rooms. I especially appreciated the 24 hr Medical clinic, available for guests to see a nurse or doctor.

The surroundings were beautiful, amongst the mountains. Our room had a terrace and was a few steps away from the the pool area. The lazy river was fun. The sound of the waves at night/morn was soothing! The beach was close too. All the staff were very friendly. Osama checked us in and was lovely. Thaw in Al Tanoor restaurant was delightful. The buffet breakfast was included and had a fantastic variety. The evening meal was also a buffet and again had an array of truly delicious food. There is a car museum at the resort which I visited It's intetesting. There looked like there was a children's play are within the building. We went to Old Muscat and visited the National Museum, which is well worth a visit. There's a small entry fee. We will definitely be going back to Muscat.

The hotel is bit away from the main part of Muscat. You really need a car or get a taxi to get around . However, if you have all inclusive and prefer just to stay and relax at the resort, it's perfect.

Good location

Booking.com online reservation system does not integrate with the hotels reservation system, so upon arrival there was no automatic record of my reservation. Fortunately this was sorted by the hotel as they were quiet and had rooms available
