Great location. Beautiful courtyard for breakfast and sitting. Close to the main harbor and restaurants, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The island has a garbage truck but no other vehicles. Donkeys and horses are the main transport for luggage.

Absolutely loved it. Couldn’t fault the location or the room. We had a lovely private balcony to read on or share a wind down drink at the end of the day. Location you’d struggle to beat for the price. It’s quiet but you’re at the main restaurants within a minute or less work. Staff were also really lovely and accommodating.
Communal courtyard for breakfast is serene and beautiful.
Honestly couldn’t fault. I am gluten free so the breakfast didn’t really work but that would likely be the case anywhere on Hydra. My partner loved it.

A charming place in the center of Hydra. No luxury but with everything you need for a pleasant stay! The interior is a bit used, but rooms are very clean!

The hotel is a renovated old mansion as are most in Hydra. Location is excellent, just a short walk to the port and very close to several restaurants and cafes. Added bonus, it's not perched up a hill as are other hotels, so we didn't have to toil on every excursion. Hydra being a popular and somewhat posh destination, it cost about 100 euros per night, which is not upnormal. We got a room on the second (top) floor which had a porch. Breakfast was quite adequate for our tastes, with offerings ranging from local cookies, bread, breadsticks, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, olives, cold cuts, jam, cheese pie, jam tart and more. Rooms are cleaned every day. Wi-fi and air conditioning worked perfectly.
No juice at breakfast, only sugared fruit drinks. We'd prefer the breakfast to be more self service ie coffee and tea to be on the buffet instead of to order.

The location of the hotel is convenient and the bed was comfortable. The room had a water boiler and extra covers
- The room's location: It was right next to the reception (like it should have been an office close), which means there was noise every time someone came to ask something or talk at the reception, so an afternoon nap was out of the question.
- The window shutters don't close, only the glass window closes, which means people sitting or walking outside can see into the room.
- The bathroom was not clean, especially the toilet
- The breakfast had no variety, just some rusks, 2 types of jam, yogurt and cereal. There were some boiled eggs on the 1st day.

The room was nice, the location is centric and the building is nice.
The owner also allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so that we could explore the island.

It has beautiful gardens, excellent breakfast, super nice and friendly staff, helpful to find places and directions, always someone there, close to port and no stairs, great prices!

Fantastic location, quiet but easy to get to from the port with a nice view of rooftops and the sea from my balcony. You do not need to climb to get there and there’s a pretty courtyard to sit and read in if you want to. My simple room was cleaned every day and the sheets and towels changed regularly it opened on to a shared balcony, each room had seating and a table. The bathroom was small but worked. There was a fridge a kettle and a safe. Really friendly staff. Great value. Breakfast included yogurt and honey which I love! Hydra is wonderful for a quiet relaxed holiday and is like Greece as it used to be elsewhere but is now more difficult to find. There are no cars and no nightclubs or really anything to do but swim, snorkel, read and eat delicious food. Perfect relaxation! Great people watching at the many bars and restaurants at the port and boats to take you to the beaches.

The location is perfect. We had a room with access to the terrace/balcony, with great view and good WiFi. The staff is very nice.
The shower was not well attached to the wall, maybe needs maintenance.

Lovely hotel - perfect location for a good price, everything was clean, very kind staff (they adapted to our check in, let us keep our baggages there after the check out), good breakfast and a cute yard
Everything was fine except the room was a little bit too simple and out-dated. But we reserved it at the last minute so we were really grateful. We still liked it though. And we saw that other rooms have nice balconies and stuff so they are for sure nicer.
