Budget apartments, in good location about 10 minutes walk to the beach. Small kitchenette with two ring hob & fridge, think some have microwaves, mine didn’t but that didn’t bother me, I’m sure if I’d wanted one it would have been supplied. Beds are quite low but I slept well even though it was a single.Bathrooms are small with a hand held shower so you do have to be careful not to get water all over the floor. A decent hairdryer is also provided & if you have a late flight out there’s a room to store your luggage & shower. There is a nice pool next door at Irene apartments & is open to anyone on the proviso you spend €10 in their bar/restaurant. I was here mid September & never had trouble getting a sunbed. There is a supermarket across the road & several others on the short walk down to the beach along with a good variety of places to eat. Agios Gordios is a small place just one road leading to the beach but nice scenery & feels homely. I would definitely recommend these apartments as value for money & as other reviews have said, can’t praise the owner highly enough, goes out of her way to be helpful & make your stay comfortable.

Beds are very low if you have mobility issues.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is beautiful and convenient, the room is clean with all the necessary equipment. Especially we appreciated the balcony with the mountain view. The hostess Vicky is very friendly and helpful!

Appartamento all'ultimo piano con due camere da letto e terrazza. Pulizia eccellente, letti comodi (noi eravamo due amici, ognuno con la propria camera), cucina fornita del necessario. La terrazza è molto bella, doppia (si esce da entrambe le camere), attrezzata con tavolini e sedie. L'appartamento è provvisto anche di AC di cui non abbiamo fatto uso perchè nonostante facesse abbastanza caldo, l'appartamento rimane fresco, soprattutto lasciando le finestre aperte (provviste di necessaria zanzariera). Al check out non è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli in casa ma ci è stata data la possibilità di accedere ad una lavanderia dove appogiare le nostre valige e poter usufruire della doccia e del wc. Vicky è attenta e premurosa, è venuta incontro alle nostre esigenze (check in dopo la mezzanotte, richiesta doppia chiave, luogo sicuro dove lasciare i nostri bagagli dopo il check out)

Unica nota "negativa" è che alla richiesta di avere due chiavi (per poter essere indipendenti, è un appartamento che potenzialmente può ospitare 4 persone) abbiamo dovuto rinunciare alla pulizia giornaliera dell'appartamento. Non ci è pesato particolarmente perchè comunque il nostro soggiorno è stato breve, però fossimo rimasti una settimana/ 10 giorni, dover scegliere tra indipendenza e pulizie (che sono comunque comprese e quindi pagate), non ci avrebbe fatto piacere. La terrazza è molto bella, putroppo la nostra dava sulla strada principale del paese (ma si vedeva anche il mare!) e ci è capitato di assistere a gare notturne di quad. Si risolve con un bel paio di tappi per le orecchie. Altra nota negativa (ma che assoutamente non dipende dall'host) è la presenza di zanzare dal tramonto fino a notte che rende inutilizzabile la terrazza dopo una certa ora.

Very nice lady that owns the apartment

It was just like in pictures, like overall the others are writing, but there were many worn out equipments and overall the apartment were outdated and not so clean. Towels had torn edges, some plates had chipped edge. There were no place to make coffe - no coffe press or espresso can. The kitchen equipment needs little refreshment. The view from the balcony to the garden was not so good - in the garden there were some old pieces from kitchen left and looked like in some abadoned house garden. Do not like to mention these things, because I belive the owner want to best for the customer, but there is a need for a little renovation if the price is like the other places in Agios Gordios. Also we were very unpleasantly surprised that the outdoor pool was not belonging to this apartment. If You like to go to pool You need to pay the same fee as any other external customer. Therefore You may choose any other Hotel or apartment and go to the outdoor pool in the Agios Gordios from your choice, so this is not completely honest to indicate that this apartment has outdoor pool. Hopefully the review will help the owner improve the stay for next customers.
