Perfect location, so you can walk around and find senso ji temple, market area, sumida river and sky tree all at walking distance.
Dormitories were a but small and if you get upper cot in the bunk bed and the guest in lower cot moves a lot you possibly will feel that. So that was a constant irritation. However, the staff was very helpful and kind, when I shared my concerns with them they changed my bed for the other night and I managed to sleep peacefully. Just a small suggestion, if you’re a woman and travelling alone, prefer female dormitory instead of mixed because mixed is basically male dormitory and as space is less so it kind of gets uncomfortable.

I had a great experience staying at Sakura Hostel Asakusa and would definitely recommend it.
The location was excellent. The hostel is in a very quiet area of Asakusa, just a few minutes’ walk from Sensō-ji Temple and Nakamise-dori, making it very convenient for exploring one of Tokyo’s most traditional neighborhoods. There are also several public transportation options within walking distance.
I stayed in an 8-bed shared room and had no issues at all during my stay. The bed was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable, with its own power outlet. The locker was also quite roomy, and there was additional space underneath the beds for luggage and other belongings.
The bathrooms and showers were spacious and always very clean. Toiletries such as shampoo and body soap were also provided, which was very convenient.
The hostel has an elevator and a café where you can also choose to have breakfast. Another feature I found particularly useful for international travelers was the currency exchange machine, which made it easy to exchange money whenever needed. There was also plenty of tourist information available about places to visit, local activities, and events happening around Tokyo.
They also offer luggage storage, which was very helpful in my case. After checking out, I needed somewhere to leave my luggage for a few hours, and the staff were able to keep it for me without any problem. It made my last few hours in the area much more convenient.
I would especially like to highlight the staff. Everyone I interacted with, from the reception staff to the housekeeping and service staff, was consistently kind, friendly, and willing to help.
A special thank you to Motoki Yoshikawa, who took the time to patiently explain which train lines and connections I needed to take to get to a festival I wanted to attend, as well as the easiest route so I wouldn’t get lost.
