Breakfast was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was very good -a 15 min walk to the metro station that brings you city centre and the Buda castle. The hotel restaurant works outside breakfast and the food is quite good. And just having a drink in the garden in the evening was nice. Free parking available, which is rare in other Budapest hotels. Room was good, beds comfortable, AC working well (but loud).
Might want to avoid attic rooms in the summer. The windows (even with sunscreen) were radiating a lot of heat.

The staff at the reception were amazing! At check-in, we were welcomed with a handwritten letter and some macarons, a simple gesture that made a big difference. We had to check out very early in the morning, and they promptly prepared breakfast packages for us to take away. Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, it is well worth it thanks to the tram stop right in front of the hotel and the free parking.

Location
WiFi was appalling
We changed room after 2 nights and was slightly better but still not great
They turned the AC off saying it’s cold now, it was 17 September and temperature was 20+
Had very bad night sleep
It should be up to the guest to control temperature not centrally controlled by the hotel.
We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.
Some of the staff were helpful.
Location is very close to metro and there’s a Lidl close by. Nothing fancy for a four star - a very basic hotel.
