Tathagata Farm Stay, Lebong — Where the Hills Teach You to Breathe Again 🌿 Tathagata Farm Stay is a little haven tucked among the misty hills of Lebong, where tea gardens stretch to the horizon and silence has its own melody. The cottages are warm, simple, and open to breathtaking views — the kind that make you forget time altogether. What makes this place truly special is its soul — the hosts who greet you with genuine warmth, the home-cooked meals made from fresh garden produce, and the sense of belonging that quietly settles in. Here, mornings begin with birdsong and end with clouds drifting past your window. Tathagata isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience of stillness, kindness, and the soft rhythm of Darjeeling’s heart.

amidst Nature, staff was very friendly, food was good, owner was too friendly as well, we loved their pets too..they were like a family for that short time we stayed

roads to reach the place is very hard and scary

The staff were awesome, very approachable and always available to help. Mr. Tamang guided us all throughout the way to reach the Farmhouse and taught the culture of local people. He was extremely patient answering our questions and providing the best possible services. We also liked the dogs, they accompanied us almost everywhere starting from reaching the farmhouse to exploring the waterfall. We had a wonderful time over there.

Only a couple of things that is probably not in control of Mr. Tamang and his staff. The power shut down and there was no water in the bathroom for a while. But the staff were excellent providing buckets of water. One constructive feedback- presence of a mini closet or almirah in the rooms might make it easier to keep the clothes.
