King Kong Hostel

The location is good near central station

When I arrived at night, I was assigned a room on the first floor. The window facing my bed was open, letting in light and noise from outside. I asked a male staff member to change my bed, but he refused and lied, claiming the bed was being held for a group arriving later that night. In reality, the bed remained unoccupied all night—and indeed, no one used it the next day either—yet he still wouldn't give me a different bed. This was completely unreasonable, especially since there were several other empty beds in the room.

Everything

Nothing

We have stayed here several times over the past years, we love the location and the fact that there is a kitchen to use for cooking. The rooms are light and spacious enough and there is place to chill downstairs or in the kitchen area.

However, de hostel seemed a bit less well maintained then during prior visites with a lot of stuff stored in the kitchen area, making it look messy and for some reason the beds we had this time where extremely soft leaving us with back pain. I want to emphasis that we never had this before so probably we where just unlucky with the room. Would still book here though as the location is great.
