Exceptional value for money in this somewhat expensive island (I travelled in June). The apartment was brand new, comfortable and spotless clean with all the equipments needed (and more, there was even a waffle maker !). No view over the hora and you will have to walk many stairs to get to it but that’s inevitable in Astypalea. The owner was also nice and offered to pick me up at my arrival. Overall an excellent stay !

Good bed
Good shower
Poor wifi, often not working.
No real view, you only see a hill with a house under construction.
In general the description does not match the reality:
- Room is much smaller than the wide-angle pictures suggest. Not 40 square meters as they advertise.
- Not a “whole vacation home” , rather a room with a basic kitchen.
- Not ‘luxury’ accommodation, but a standard room.
In short: definitely not a horrible place, but I think you can get something better.

Posizione comoda e sufficientemente centrale.
Kostas ci ha raggiunti in aeroporto e accompagnato al Papillon.
Astypalea è veramente bella."
