Location owners friendly and welcoming peaceful and quiet animals close by and a restaurant on site

It was great couldn’t complain about anything

This was a fantastic lodge. It had adequate room for family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Kitchen was equipped with basic necessities, microwave, fridge, cooker, crockery and kitchen utensils. The bedrooms, first bedroom bad 1 double bed and second 2 single, with the third being a mobile foldable bed. The foldable bed probably needs a bit of refurb, new slats. Overall the bedrooms were good too. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower had decent power. Outside the surroundings/ grounds offered a lot of greenery, a woodland walk, a stream running past the lodge, variety of animals including deers and horses. The lodge is a fantastic base to explore the north of Scotland, to tick off landmarks like Dunns Head, John o Groats and to explore the famous nc500 route and various other awesome sites like Dunrobin Castle. It's not too far from Inverness, only a 30 mins drive, this has your mainstream stores should you need them. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to address any queries.

I will absolutely stay here again. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The accommodations were beautiful. My children loved playing with all the animals on the property. Great entertainment for children with the playground as well. I wish we had had longer here.

Nothing, this place was amazing.

The lodge was basic but clean and comfy, the bed was okay, the shower was good. The location of the lodge was very good, we had a good view from the balcony. The staff were very helpful. For the cost it was a good deal.

The television was tiny, I think they could really do with getting a bigger one. The only other thing we weren't too keen on was the drive from the main road to the site. We didn't realise it was 2 miles on a single track road.
