The spectacular location and the good wifi
The bathroom is a bit too small and strangely shaped. There was a strange smell every time bidet was used (but apparently a common issue with every hotel in Ubud). The pool’s floor felt sandy. The sitting area outside the room could use cleaner chair cushions

The facilities were very clean and the staff were beyond lovely
we felt a little awkward wanting to use the pool as it was right infront of reception, but we had a great time here nonetheless

Central location; reasonable price; quiet; large room with large balcony; lovely owners, helpful and kind; lots of drinking water available;
Very basic; on first morning, problems with the water supply meant I couldn’t wash and after it was fixed, the shower produced just a dribble;
The whole place could do with some T.L.C., the self-adhesive flooring is peeling; dangerous deep uneven stairs from ground floor - could do with better lighting, or at least some lighter tape to mark the steps’ edges; the ‘swimming pool’ is small, but it’s good to be around water in the dusty heat of the city!
