The view was absolutely amazing, the aura was calming and special. The property was really well preserved and authentic. Loved the food from the restaurant it was so delicious, I’m gonna miss it!
There is a lot of sound coming from the town, as the property is on the lake. Dogs fighting non stop, also people start praying at 5am through the speakers, and that woke us up every time. We found it uncomfortable as european travellers. Obviously it’s not properties fault, but just a tip to have earplugs.
Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Enchanting place, falling short of words to describe our wonderful experience. The owner of the property is gem of a person and we found a true friend in him and Mascot houseboat is a reason we will visit Kashmir again

The wood carvings of the boat.
Bathroom mats were dirty. The food was average and little diversity. Poor breakfast for the price. Shikhara boat drivers were aggressive and demanded money even so it should have been included in the houseboat price.
