夕食なしプランでしたが、近くの食事処が書いてある地図を頂け、スムーズに食事処を見つけることが出来ました。

朝食でゆっくり食事をしていて、9時の終了時間にもなっていないのに、飲み物を下げられていたことです。 大いに残念で、不快な思いをしました

お部屋も広く、清潔感があり必要なものは一通りそろえられているので、次回は手ぶらで来ても問題なさそうだなと思いました。標高が高く防寒対策に心配していましたが(下とは10℃温差があります)ウインドブレーカーの無料貸出に非常に助かりました。小さなお子様が楽しめる設備が揃っていて安心して宿泊できるホテルです。

The staff is very kind. they even picked me up at the train station at nighttime. The rooms are large and very nice. The area in the rear of the hotel is beautiful.

they advertise having an onsen but I had tattoos so I wasn’t allowed to go in. This is to be expected but disappointing since I’m an American. If you’re on the ground level there’s no privacy. I couldn’t enjoy the view our having my curtains open otherwise people could see me. Not relaxing. the beautiful back area is open to the public, not just guests of the hotel. So while you get no privacy in your ground floor room it’s because ANYONE can be back there. Also not relaxing because people take phone calls out there or let their screaming children jump on hammocks, run around, and crash toys on the ground. I was expecting a peaceful hotel “Relaxia.” I wasn’t allowed in the onsen, had no privacy in my room, and the back area was public. as a hotel guest I would’ve thought it was only for paying customers. Not a relaxing hotel at all. better if you are a family and don’t care about screaming kids.

The resort is catered mainly to the Japanese but we were fortunate to have an Australian bilingual staff member working there. It would have been way more difficult to communicate without her.

Getting there... Easiest is to train it to teramae station and then catching a bus there. There aren't many taxis in town...somewhere between zero and 1
