Sugar Beach Resort

I enjoyed the room in which I had booked as there was the gorgeous view of the beach and it was quite refreshing in the sense that there was just a whole lot of peace and quiet

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like entirely however I just felt that there could have been more on the premises as well as in my opinion it is slightly silly to make reservations for dinner when the kitchen is not open to the public and because my partner had not read the book properly it was very awkward as both times we wanted to order dinner and lunch we were turned away and front desk made a comment of “you guys are making this difficult for me” so it was slightly off putting and I do suppose it was my fault as I did not look at the book however I don’t think the comment was necessary, despite the awkwardness it was still decent and when we were able to eat the food was delicious

A lovely resort with fantastic staff and general service levels.

Priced a bit high for the value exchange on offer.

I enjoyed the breakfast, the lovely service from the staff and even the engagements with the owners. The rooms were lovely and big and I enjoyed the sea view. A big shout out to Chantelle who walked the journey with us from booking and throughout the stay. We enjoyed the pool that is positioned in such a way that you can see the ocean when swimming and my parents enjoyed the lovely spa treatment. It's a hidden gem indeed and very peaceful.

I was surprised by the number of geckos in the rooms. I understand they are regional and help with insects but this made my stay uncomfortable. A warning about the geckos ahead of the stay or extra measures to keep them out would have been appreciated. The breakfast also runs out towards the latter part of breakfast time when there are many guests so I think the guests and the resort would benefit from better meal planning.
