A great and accessible location, perfect for exploring Matera. Good breakfast.
Parking was frustrating. Our allocated space was undercover in a tight courtyard, and the guest in the neighbouring space repeatedly parked inconsiderately, making it very difficult for us to access ours. When we couldn’t get into our space, we parked in another, only to be contacted after we had gone into town for dinner and told we needed to move the car.
Clearly numbered spaces, explained on arrival, along with staff reminding guests to park considerately, would have helped avoid this.
There was also a barking dog in the room next door, which disturbed our stay.

Located on the edge of town with superb views. Room was well proportioned with amenities. Superb bathroom. Private parking outside ZTL but just 200m away.
Nothing would recommend!

besides the nightmare regarding parking and entering the restricted zone as no place else to turn around, the hotel could have given instructions earlier but breakfast made up for it … well depends on ticket price.
Everything else was excellent
instructions email to park. The woman on the phone guided us using actual live video
