One of the highlights of my trip to Kerala was how accommodating and kind Divya and her family were whilst we were in Kumarakom. Every breakfast and dinner we had at Mango was incredible, I tried so many new foods including coconut chutney which was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a view out the back which was gorgeous and great for bird watching. The lake facing rooms were also stunning, I loved sitting on the balcony on the swing in the afternoon. Mango offers many activities and experiences including the Drift Wood Museum which is a unique and wonderful place, bird watching and many boat experiences. We kayaked along the backwaters at sunset which was so lovely. Divya and her family also helped me when I got food poisoning (from the one night we didn’t eat at Mango, a true regret of mine!) and I am extremely grateful to them for being so kind and caring. You are in good hands when you stay at Mango! I would love to stay here again, it is one of the most comfortable and relaxing places in the world!

We stayed in a room facing the Canal with nice views of boats operating on the canal & lot of Cormorant birds. Very tasty indian food for breakfast with good variety. We also had dinner, well made by Divya. The family stay on the ground floor of the homestay & very helpful for arranging boat trips. Dinesh the owner took good care of us along with his wife Divya. Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds

Beautiful location, beautiful hosts, clean comfortable room, lots of nature around

You have to inform them a day in advance if you want lunch/dinner. A nearby restaurant had good seafood so wasnt a huge problem for us

Location is excellent, facing the Backwaters. Easily approachable by road. The hosts, Divya and Dileep are very helpful, pleasant and hospitable.

The was very good, typically local kerala cuisine. We enjoyed the stay
