We loved the house and location, just a mile from Popham beach.

The home’s location is ideal. The beach is close. We toured BWI in Bath and the Maritime Museum. Excellent. Brunswick and Bowdoin College’s art museum was a most interesting collection. Booth Bay & a harbor boat outing was picturesque. We boarded Amtrak in Brunswick for a day trip to Boston. The home itself was a good fit as we enjoyed the large dining table & kitchen. Well done!

This is a highly desirable property and my family and I would love to return. The house has a well-appointed kitchen and many comfortable places for relaxing with a book, watching TV, or playing games. Though it's tucked among the trees, the many windows give it a light and breezy feel. There's a beautiful deck overlooking woods and bay (one of two nearby choices for kayaking). We saw a bald eagle circling overhead a couple times. Best of all, it's about a mile from Popham Beach, so we were able to spend hours swimming during the day and come back in the evenings for walks during low tide.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has a beautiful view of Atkins Bay. The house is spacious and the dinning table and kitchen worked well for meals. The house is minutes to Popham. The deck was great and we were able to enjoy some meals outside during our stay. Ken was a great host and responded quickly to any questions during our stay. Thank you!

Another memorable week at Popham Beach with amazing weather; hours spent prospecting for sand dollars, surf casting for stripers (one keeper that gave the three of us two tasty dinners) and long walks between the fort and Fox Island. We have yet to use the kayaks- next trip!
The house has all the amenities needed to have an adventurous week at the beach. We are looking forward to our return visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Kenneth's house on Atkins
Bay in Phippsburg. Maine. The house was roomy and spacious, with nicely separated bedrooms providing plenty of privacy. The kitchen was large and well stocked. There are basically two living rooms, both with nice views of Atkins Bay. The deck was recently re done with new planking and railings. The best part was the close proximity to Popham Beach. We've been coming the Popham Beach area to vacation for 20 years. It is one our favorite places in Maine. We would love to stay at Lobsterman's Way again in the future. Hopefully for two weeks next time!

Bay in Phippsburg. Maine. The house was roomy and spacious, with nicely separated bedrooms providing plenty of privacy. The kitchen was large and well stocked. There are basically two living rooms, both with nice views of Atkins Bay. The deck was recently re done with new planking and railings. The best part was the close proximity to Popham Beach. The property was perfect for my family. The house was spacious, and nicely configured for our numbers. The large dining room table was wonderful for our evening meals, with room for everyone to be together. The deck had a beautiful view, and was so lovely and relaxing - a great place to visit and grill. We would all love to return!

Property is as described, and comfortable for six people. We had limited use of the outdoor part of the property because of the huge number of mosquitos that followed some rain. The kitchen is very well-equipped, wi fi has good reception. Property owner is responsive.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful house! We were so thankful to have this time with our friends! The house was perfect for our needs! The kitchen was well equipped, two full bathrooms, along with laundry facilities, were all needed and used. The proximity to Popham was perfect! Each morning we drove a couple miles to the Fort and walked along the beach for our daily exercise.Mosquitos are an issue EVERYWHERE there’s shade in Maine...so be prepared.The dining table was perfect for games and meals for the six of us...but it could easily hold twelve people!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful house! We were so thankful to have this time with our friends! The house was perfect for our needs! Mosquitos are an issue EVERYWHERE there’s shade in Maine...so be prepared.

We had a great time! The house has a lot of windows and is very spacious. We really enjoyed the cool breeze off of the bay each evening. Popham Beach is less than a 5 min drive away and was easily accessible. Ken was a very kind and responsive host!

Well equipped beach house in a good location to social distance!
Ken's house comes as advertised and the pictures are all very accurate. The house comes well equipped and is very comfortable with a nice view of the bay. Ken offered the use of kayaks, fishing poles, beach chairs etc which were great!
Ken is a very responsive owner who answered our questions before our arrival and addressed any issues while at the property.
The beach is a close drive and never gets too crowded while the area is very secluded for social distancing purposes.
The only cons are that the decor is a bit outdated and the ignition on the grill was not working plus the mosquitos leave it uncomfortable to stay outside for long.
Overall we were pleased with our stay and appreciate Ken's efforts to make everything comfortable.

August Stay
Stayed at the property in early August. The location was excellent and the views of the bay were great. I ran to Popham Beach each morning. I also kayaked in Spirit Pond across the street.
Sadly, mosquitoes basically ruined the outside experience at the property itself. I was expecting bugs, but this was nearly unbearable, and made you not want to go outside. Deep Woods off and even a fire pit made little difference.
Other than that issue the house had everything we needed for a family of four and two additional friends. If something could be done about the bugs it'd be a wonderful place.

Enjoyable stay near Popham Beach
Comfortable home with a 2 minute drive to Popham Beach. We enjoyed exploring Popham Beach, Fort Popham, Reid State Park, Bath, & Boothbay Harbor. Mid coastal Maine is beautiful and less crowded than other New England vacation destinations. We highly recommend this area! A great perk for this house was the car pass to get into Maine State Parks that was provided by the home owner.
The home is well decorated with an ocean theme. It’s roomy as well with space to spread out. The kitchen & bathrooms are outdated but in good working order. The view of the bay from the house and deck is serene and peaceful. The house was a great place to relax between adventures, but our time outdoors at the house was limited due to ferocious mosquitos and green-headed horse flies. We were traveling with our teenage children & the house was perfect for our family. It may not be the best choice for families with very young children due to the uneven terrain in the back yard and the proximity to the main road from the front of the house.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we would stay again if we get the chance!

A great house in a perfect location
The owners have created a wonderful space to use as a base of operations while visiting magical Popham Beach. The common areas are spacious with large windows to keep everything bright. The dining room table is majestic! We gave the kitchen a thorough workout, and as two professional chefs, were very pleased with the performance of the equipment and how well appointed it is.
The proximity to the beach can’t be overstated as a huge bonus. As well, the water quality and pressure are amazing for this part of the world.
We have found our go-to house for our future visits.

Another Awesome Maine Vacation

Peaceful, Private Paradise! Awesome Location
Words cannot explain this peace of property. I don't even think that the pictures show how truly amazing this home, view, and beauty this place offered. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee was great as well as relaxing. The beach is maybe 3 min. away from property by vehicle, but the bay-river is right there, even the air was different in a good way. The decor is done so well, will be back! The owners are such nice people. The restaurants are not far and food is good but you can cook at this location as well. Home sweet home is how I felt! I woke up today missing the view...oh well (just another reason to get back ASAP!

Very nice getaway
Very clean and spacious home,well decorated and comfortable. Very nice view of bay from outside deck in back,pond view outside front window. Nice bright but quiet location only minutes from beautiful pop ham beach.Seafood resturants close by. Can't wait to go back in September. Great Rental
We had a great time at this rental, you can sit on the deck and not have a bunch of other rentals right near you overlooking your deck. Went fishing at the pier, Mackerel were in, caught quite a few. Stripe bass season starts soon hope to get some of those. House was very nice and very clean, would recommend this rental.

Peaceful and serene getaway.
Home large and bright, clean and nicely decorated.. All matrasses, and sofa obviously new and very comfortable. Beautiful view out of all windows. If you sit in the living room or dinning room you look out on the bay. From the other side of the house you are afforded a lovely view of Spirit Pond. From the raised deck you can watch the seals at play and eagles soaring over the bay. Enjoyed delicious seafood meals at several nearby restaurants. Will definitely return and recommend this property highly.
