Gardiner House Hostel

The breakfast was very basic. The eggs were not good. They had a rubbery, institutional texture and taste. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The building was well looked after and clean.

My mattress was sagging in the middle so it was uncomfortable. 8 beds in a room is too much. 6 would be a better ratio for the reduction of noise, and sharing 1 bathroom.

Il dormitorio era bellissimo e molto originale. I pods dove si dormiva erano puliti, comodi e spaziosi. Ogni bagno era completo di tutto, wc e doccia. La cucina era molto grande, ben attrezzata e pulita. Gli spazi comuni erano molto ben curati e molto belli. Personalmente squisito.

I personally liked the location, If you are going to an event for Croke Park. The neighborhood itself, was mixed but not recommended to be out late alone.

Thie was by far one of the worst hostel experiences I have had in 40 countries. The furniture is very used and therefore sleep is not great. some rooms have 3 story bunks, the couches, people are sleeping on all day. They host to permanent guests for months at a time. The breakfast is bare and mediocre. It was a very bad impression for my friend who I was so excited to show the hosteling experience. These rooms do not have roper ventalation, all guests in the room were complaining it was about 85 degrees or more in our room, they would not help us, for days on end, in bunks, it was awful. I would not recommend this place unless you are doing an in and out event at Croke park. For the price on the weekend, $110 usd it was awful.
