An ambassador (staff of the apartment) of Sweden has created this bad memory. Our ferry was cancelled due to the storm last day. It was not possible to agree on the cancellation of the apartment order several times. No desire to arrive later in a good weather due to unfriendly communication. Fortunately, we had booked accommodation in several places and did not have such a bad experience elsewhere as in Kolleviks Camping. It is just money lost, good/bad emotions last for a long time.

Karlshamn is a nice place, and has beautiful nature all around the camping place. There is a nice minigolf, seemed well maintained / brand new. The minishop had a nice selection of ice creams. The cottage had everything we needed.

The cottage had seen its better days, but in the end everything was working. It was a bit of a walk from the first cottages to the beach, but manageable.

The veranda on the cabin was quite nice. This is about the only thing I can say that was actually positive about the cabin.

- Cabin looked like it had ot been renovated since 80s. Many broken/rusty/peeling/crusty/stained/missing items e.g. door handles, windows, fittings etc. The fixes that had been made were minimal e.g. just nailing down the stained brown vinyl where it was peeling off the floor. - Sheets were supposed to be available for 100kr/person, but they had run out. Had to buy 2x double sheets for 300kr, a huge amount of money for disposable PAPER sheets. - Cabin was not properly clean. They have a model where the previous person should do a very basic cleaning by wiping down all surfaces with a rag. It looked like it had not been properly cleaned all summer. They did not provide proper cleaning items (a dishwashing tablet is not a suitable cleaning product, especially since it is corrosive to skin).

location was ok

unfriendly staff, many extra charges not mentioned during the booking process (charge for sheets and towels 130sek per person, cleaning 270sek). “landmark view” = view over rubbish bins and campers. tried to talk to the staff about the extra charges and was met with an unfriendly reply, no apology, and no option to get our money back because the place was not up to what was described during the booking. very disappointed.

Quiet, clean, close to the sea. Parking just by the cottage.

The cottage nr. 27 is quite old (but clean and everything works). There are some brand new cottages though.

nice location at the beach and close to Vägga Harbour. Cozy little hut. Common facilities clean. Nice staff.

Bunk beds miss railing, should be a security measure. Would be good if you could buy milk and butter at the kiosk. No bus going to the camp site. Not accessible without a car or bike.

We loved the camping, we were in a cabin for 4 people without a bathroom, it was comfy and warm, the bathroom is shared but always clean and not too busy, the attention is super nice. It is a super nice place, beautiful places nearby the camping and a cozy tiny beach into the camping. You can bring your own sheets or buy ones there.

The only thing we did not like was that we were charged for a few cigarettes that someone else threw at the entrance to our cabin. We went with a cat and a dog and they were also happy, the only thing you should think about if you go with your dog is that they are not allowed to enter the beach that is in the camp, but you can go to the other beaches outside the camping.
