The food here is outstanding. The produce is excellent and the kitchen is fantastic. Breakfast was a real highlight: generous and impressive, and the made-to-order omelettes and scrambled eggs were superb. Table service was attentive and very good. Everything was spotless, and the hotel runs very smoothly. The architecture is beautiful, and the atmosphere is calm and discreet, among both the staff and the other guests. Having a yoga class on site was a lovely bonus.
For a place of this standard, the coffee should match the food, and it doesn't yet. You have excellent equipment, so a trained barista would make a big difference. Latte art and a more refined iced coffee would fit well with the rest of the experience. The breakfast juice tasted more like sweet syrup than fruit. Freshly squeezed juice, and maybe a small choice of smoothies, would suit such a high-quality breakfast much better. I was surprised to be driven to my room by golf cart when it was only about a minute's walk. For a hotel that appeals to active, eco-minded guests, it might be better to offer the ride as an option instead of the default. When I asked at reception to book a yoga class, I was sent to the spa to do it myself. It would be a nice touch if reception could arrange this directly. Finally, online check-in didn't work for me, so I had to do everything on arrival, where the same system worked fine. It's a small thing, but fixing it would make arrival much smoother. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel, and these small improvements would make an excellent stay exceptional.

We stayed at OKU Kos already two years ago and came back for this vacation. Once again it was a wonderful experience. The hotel grounds are beautifully designed and offer everything from a welcoming lounge/bar and a great restaurant to a picturesque beach with lounge chairs. Breakfast is an absolute highlight—on the one hand, the very generous buffet featuring local products... and then, of course, the open-air terrace with its great view. We’d also like to highlight the staff, who are always very friendly, courteous and attentive. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing vacation.
Not a criticism, more of an observation. We booked half-board again this time, which means we could choose our dinner from the menu. The selection, presentation, and quality of the dishes are top-notch. After 4–5 days, the menu options inevitably start to repeat. So next time, we probably won't book half-board and will go out to eat every now and then instead.

OKU Kos is a pure gem! The hotel and the facilities are amazing. The pool, the access to the beach, the sunset, the food… well, everything is perfect! And the team is super adorable and helpful, at any time. I recommend it.
Nothing!

The location, rooms and spa were beautiful.
The service, accessibility and reliability. I booked everything months in advance to ensure I had a nice 40th birthday after paying a lot of money for myself and two friends. They promised that "I would be well taken care of" and that they'd have a cake, that I requested. On the day, none of that happened. We could initially not even get a table at the restaurant. No cake either obviously. Nothing to make up for this either. Super disappointing birthday. One of the days we asked for the take away breakfast since we had to leave the hotel early and I'd already paid for breakfast for every day. They showed us the nice take away menu that was a lunchbox that apparently includes "..a selection of fruits, pastries and refreshments, as well as a sandwich" When we go collect this, turns out to be only a dry sandwich in cling wrap each. THAT IS ALL.One evening they had live music on the beach. The power unexpectedly went out. And instead of anyone coming to tell us anything, the staff disappeared and the guests just sat in the dark waiting for 30 minutes with no word from anyone.Service on the beach was slow to non existent. Frustrating that even when you go up to them and ask if you can take your bottle of coke (220ml at 6 euros btw), they insist on bringing it to you. There's a 50/50 chance of you getti g what you ordered. The staff seemed impatient and overworked. Which seems to make sense since we kept seeing the same people all throughout the day. A manager of sorts (I'm guessing), some man on the floor at the restaurant, gave me a very hostile stare for an uncomfortably long time and luckily that was the last night. I was done.On the final bill they charged us for a list of items we never had. They also tried to add things to our restaurant bill + adding champagne?!
