The people running these villas are super lovely and helpful. Bamboo Villa is so sweet and quirky, and very homely. The bed was super comfy. The villa and grounds is simply beautiful, the garden is amazing and so tranquil. Cool off in a lovely pool in the middle of the garden after a hot day. They helped me get a motorbike for the day (delivered) and arranged for laundry to be done. I'd definitely come back and stay again!

If Booking com says airport transfer is included, well, it's not. That caused a lot of confusion and not a great start The villa is a bit lacking in toiletries, I had to ask to borrow some shampoo (I had conditioner), and the hairdryer is very weak. A couple of hiccups with the hot water heater not turning on when the shower was on, but they sorted those when needed. Something to note, the kitchen used for preparing breakfast as well as the managers personal kitchen is part of the villa adjacent to the bathroom (open bamboo slats, so no sound insulation) so there isn't the best privacy in the mornings if you get my meaning 🤣 a bit awkward. But overall, all good and friendly.

no parking nearby - quite a long walk to the rooms from the local community car park and pretty dark and scary at night

serenity just out of Ubud centre. The property is an oasis of tranquility and the hosts are just so kind and helpful. our breakfasts were always amazing and the location amongst the rice fields is perfect. Our villa had a beautiful view on to the ricefields and we also had our own area for lounging. Next to us was a superb Padi warung and Uma cafe, both fantastic.

the hot water isn't really hot. more barely warm. but that is not something that would stop me staying here.
