Location was Epic. Steps from castle's paved scenic walkway. Clean unit. Stocked kitchen. Large fridge with large freezer. Had 1 full bathroom on main floor and 1 full bathroom on bedroom floor. Enjoyed large dual sliding doors in 2 bedrooms and living area. Bidet was a plus. Close to shops. Prices in shops cheaper than Istanbul market or Italian shops. Friendly people. Clean beach. Had a drying rack. Not bussy.

Sugar ants, small bedrooms. Hard matress. No screens on slider. 4 flights of stairs. Service vehicle collecting trash or cleaning street every morning 4-5 am were very loud. Air vent overdue for cleaning. No clothes dryer.

The location was amazing. From the views, to the proximity to restaurants and shops the location was wonderful. There was plenty of space on the 2 main floors and rooftop/entry level for our family of 4 to spread out. We got to know the staff at the gelato stand just steps from the front door quite well during our stay. By steps away, we mean occasionally having to ask someone relaxing in their cafe chair to excuse us so we could get in/out or door. It added to the European charm of the place. The staff that met us for the keys were very friendly. The restaurants they recommended were wonderful. We had to call for help with a few things (wifi password, meeting us to show us where to park) and they answered right away and were very helpful.

The parking situation and the condition of the unit left much to be desired. If the process to find the parking spot, and the furniture/repairs of the home were improved this place would be an easy 5 stars. The parking spot is numerous blocks away from the home and our car wasn't very accessible so we changed some of our plans to no longer need the car during our stay. Also the process of getting our bags to and from the unit was a bit hectic. (Needing to drive/park in an area that police monitor and needing to move barrier cones to get there) We found humor in the process but it definitely wasn't easy. The unit itself was furnished with very bare bones/well used ikea style furnishings. The kitchen was nice. But we found ourselves sitting on the tile floor in the living room with a lack of places to sit/comfortable chairs. One of the shower heads was broken and pointing back towards the wall which made it hard to use. Finally the noise from the cafe and beaches below could be an irritant to some people. We were expecting it and brought earplugs so it didn't bother us. The beach was very busy but we still enjoyed it. For those used to sandy beaches, this beach is all rocks that is hard to walk on for those not used to it. Not a big deal, but helpful to know ahead of time. The price was right for the location, but if it had been any more expensive we would have complained about the state of the unit.
