This property has a few great things going for it: location, cleanliness, and the AC. Location is unbeatable. Right in the actions and steps from everything. Also only 1 set of stairs to go up for your rooms. Very clean property and rooms. AC is amazing. Place stays cool all day even without it on.

Insanely loud at night. Do NOT stay on a weekend if you want to sleep early. The resturant below plays music until past midnight. Incredibly loud. And not the type of loud an old person says, I’m in my 30s and it’s very difficult to sleep even after drinking. The checkin communication could also use improvement. There are ZERO people on property. Zero. No one at reception, nothing. They have to remotely open the building door, then remotely open the entrance, then again for your room. Every is done remotely so if you have poor service, good luck getting in. Also, there is only 4 rooms at the property so I wouldn’t call it a hotel. Zero amenities. No coffee in room and the voucher you get for breakfast is a decent walk up town, but is very good coffee and brioche.

I liked the location as it was quite convenient to walk through all the restaurants and cafés.

I booked this Airbnb because of the location, knowing that it would be in the centre of the historic town. I was prepared to hear noise from the restaurants and the bars. Unfortunately, there was a Mexican restaurant downstairs that continued with loud music until past 3:30 in the morning. This is not acceptable. Although I did receive an apology from the Airbnb and multiple excuses, this is not acceptable for someone to experience, especially after a long day of travel. The room is lacking even a basic coffee machine and a towel to go to the beach. They give a voucher for their café, which supposedly is about five blocks away, which I did not take advantage of. I normally do not give bad reviews, but the consumer must be aware of the restaurant downstairs and be prepared to stay awake all night. A taxi cannot drop you off in front of this location. You must walk with your luggage on the cobblestones to their door. Nobody was there to help with the luggage although the host again said that they tried to contact me through WhatsApp, but coming from another country people usually don’t have Wi-Fi until they get established. I was lucky enough to get the Wi-Fi from a restaurant nearby to contact them because no one was there to open the door or to greet me. Again, I received excuses from the host that they tried to contact me, but that doesn’t help when you do not have Wi-Fi. Be prepared to carry your luggage from the street up staircase.
