Had everything needed for few days away. Was exceptionally clean.
Toilet right next to bedroom and very small . Shower not very powerful.

Location
Picture of the building photoshopped. The accommodation was tiny. Description does not match facilities, no access to outdoor seating area. Bathroom washbasin is located in the bedroom, Interior was tired and dated.Needs a refurb. The key safe didn't work. We wouldn't return to this cottage

no garden to sit in of an evening. There seems to have been one at one point, but the metal stairs to it were removed.

There is a garden on an upper terrace with lovely fell views but it was unclear if we could use that garden couldn't find any info... Pity as that compensates for no fell views from the cottage . Lovely & clean, decor a bit dated but value for money, quiet no road noise which was a bonus. It was a comfortable, quiet stay in central location really enjoyed it
No view of fells yet photo shots lead you to believe there is.

Lovely location. Well provisioned and comfortable. Ideal for our purposes although we had to leave early due to Storm Eunice. It was good for our needs.
Slightly dated furniture. Quirky layout re en suite, bedroom and sink. We may have missed seeing instructions on how to access the washing machine facilities.

There was renovation of a building taking place at the location of our holiday cottage, which was noisy with drilling, hammering and also use of vehicles such as digger, dumper and lorry to take away debris from site, this started at 8.am, and for my wife and I this was not what we were expecting during our holiday, in what is a beautiful spot in the Lake District, where we thought would be a quiet and peaceful setting, At seventy years of age, peace and solitude among the lakeside fells is what we looked forward to, sadly it was not what we got. Every thing else was very good, the location beautiful, the cottage comfortable and clean, village within walking distance, good eating places. If only we had been forewarned of what was taking place during our stay, we may have been able to change location or come on a different date when no noisy work was taking place, such a shame. I feel the customer should be informed prior to their arrival, of anything which may spoil their holiday, such as, ( when it is known that industrious and noisy work is taking place on site).

Heavy Easter traffic and extensive roadworks made it very difficult get around.
