Penzion Mayer

Great location. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained. Very high standard with quality products. The bathroom and toilet are very well done and likely recently renovated.

The one thing that ruined the experience—and even led to my stay being cut short—was the cold. In early October, with outside temperatures dropping to around 7°C at night, the central heating was clearly not working. I requested a portable heater, but it was not provided. The room was far too cold for my taste, and I had to sleep with two duvets just to have a normal night's sleep for one night. Thanks to Booking.com customer support, we found a resolution. To be clear, a normal room temperature - 20C - 22C is a crucial element of comfort for me. For guests who are used to wearing heavy clothes indoors at such mountain resorts, this might not be an issue. Beyond the lack of assistance being disappointing, it seems this is simply how the place operates. The staff are good people, but this is something they clearly do not want to change.

The property is in a brilliant location a couple of minutes from the lakeside. Upon arrival the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and took there time to give you any information that you needed about the property and the town itself. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Will be back

I couldn’t say anything negative about the hotel at all

Amazing breakfast, friendly family owners who are very kind, great central location with nice garden.

It was all great.

Pension Mayer is an excellent bed & breakfast with a breakfast buffet 4-star hotels will not match that easily. The host is very nice and accommodating. I would definitely book again.

All has been good, maybe some more hooks ate the wall to hang some things to dry.
