Expected and asked for an upgrade At least for one day out of four days we stayed and spent one 1Lakh. Denied!

If you’re looking for a place to getaway and fully relax for a few days, choose this hotel. It’s located in a quiet forest a short walk or taxi ride from both Dharamkot and McLeod Ganj. The restaurant has a huge variety of food and the chefs and staff provide exceptional service. The library, bar area and sitting room are great. The rooms are comfortable.

The Hyatt Dharamsala possibly has the highest level of customer service I have ever experienced in any hotel or country around the world. And that’s saying a lot as I have travelled for business for over 10 years. It’s not the facilities - which are great (nice spa very comfortable bed) or the food which is also nice (a very accommodating chef for intolerances) that make this a wonderful place to stay. It’s the people. Their attitudes are exceptional and their care and attention is remarkable. I never saw anyone who wasn’t perfectly on point and ready to help - always with a smile. Their friendliness knows no bounds. An absolutely remarkable stay. In the beautiful hills with woodland all around and so peaceful. The walk down to Mcloed Ganj is steep but I much preferred walking this daily than going to the gym. Worth it just to see the adorable baby monkeys and be chased away by their mother! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Also photos don’t do it justice much nicer looking in person

Nothing at all. It rains quite a bit in the area so stay somewhere nice for when you have to stay inside all day. And then it’s the perfect base to explore when you want to visit temples museums and monasteries.

The staff were lovely, the hotel itself was quite old and rundown, clean, but I do feel like the Hyatt could renovate this hotel. And should.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, I just do feel like the rooms need to be renovated & the hotel needs to be renovated.
