Amazing unique location with great views and fantastic beach access. Authentic & clean building as well as surroundings, including the swimming pool. Really spacious parking, very handy. Good to have 2 different restaurants on site.
Staff in restaurants (except final evening in the Italian restaurant, where there was more enthusiasm) and at breakfast didn’t feel very welcoming, not sure if this was the language barrier or not. Never once were we asked if we enjoyed the food or if they could help, we always had to chase them. In the morning you even felt a bit scared to ask anything not to annoy someone… Didn’t feel like a 5 star experience. Welcome at reception & luggage service, however, was great, also housekeepers were very friendly.
The “warm” breakfast items such as eggs or pancakes were never really warm, as they are strangely stored in open plates.
Room pictures showed balcony, but room did not have a balcony: not a big problem, as the room was very nice, but still confusing.

Spacious, nice beds and bathroom with bubble bath
Very dirty carpeting in the corridors, we had a cockroach in our room, some of the dispensables in the bathroom (soap, vanity set, lotion) that were supposed to be single use, were already opened or even empty :D
Toilet brush is absent so if you went number 2 and left marks on the toilet you just have to live with it until poor cleaners come and take care of it I guess.
We had a situation with a cockroach, manager gave us another room but on the same floor. We also nagged them for free breakfast for the inconveniences (packing and unpacking), they were not very happy with it but gave us free breakfast, would be nice to be just offered that instead of nagging them
