Fantastic location
Very comfortable bed
Good hot shower
The bedroom was facing the road opposite a pub very noisy.
The room could of done with being repainted slightly looking grubby
Cobwebs in bathroom and dust on bathroom door
Breakfast
I was the first one in at 8am no good morning or any form of acknowledgement had to ask all the questions
Breakfast came out loopy warm beans same with the tomato and sausage quarter of a slice of bacon part of it missing a shame really as it was of good quality but laziness from the chef.obviously the food just kept under a heat lamp..

A great location and a lovely building with lots of history.
Breakfast was okay.
The hotel is very tired and underinvested. Thread bare carpets, wallpaper hanging off walls, cracks and water stains on ceilings and dated bathrooms.
The owners are obviously more interested in making money than investing in their asset. This could be a fabulous place to stay. It is a listed building but that does not prevent basic maintenance.
