The atmosphere, the nice helpful staff, the Christmas tree outside a great idea
The restaurant has good food and not so expensive
I had a cordon Bleu and it tasted like not really fresh made
It could be just my taste but it was served to quick aster the order was placed

Quiet location. Free on site parking. Hotel building very interesting architecturally. Food good at evening when it eventually came. Grumpy server. Breakfast good choices and you can eat inside or outside. Breakfast staff very helpful . Evening; slow restaurant service. No English spoken so difficult for visitors with basic German language. Not made to feel particularly welcome as English visitors. Interesting local history at monastery. Be aware some visitors may find part some parts of the local history sad and disturbing should they decide to explore the monastery, but it is right to not hide the historical aspects.
Difficult to find. Bad smell from drains. Local roadworks started early & disturbed rest, not ideal when travelling long distances throughout Germany touring & chosen as stated quiet location - possibly working on drains?
