B&B Casa Dorsi

Where to begin. We booked last minute and got so so lucky with Casa Dorsi. Located in the heart of Polignano and overlooking the Adriatic Sea this gem was one of the major highlights of our trips to Puglia. The room itself was clean and spacious perfect for two people. The terrace was such a bonus. We spent mornings and evenings admiring the beauty of the city. Beyond the phenomenal location this BnB had some of the best breakfast we had while in Puglia. A spread of fresh local Italian produce and delicacies. The cappuccinos were the best we had in Italy and you can’t beat the view from the street - the sea just steps away. The staff were so so sweet and kind - big shoutout to the sweetest lady who worked in the AM for breakfast. She always brought such warm energy. Overall our stay was amazing and we are already planning our return!! Lots of love from Canada :)

Carlo & Annalisa are two of the kindest, most hospitable, and welcoming hosts we have ever met. Their former family home, B&B Casa Dorsi, is a magical, impeccably clean place set on a cliffside right in the heart of the Old Town. We booked three rooms, and everyone was thrilled—they were very comfortable, spotless, beautifully furnished, and featured excellent AC and daily housekeeping. The views from our veranda and the rooftop terrace of the Adriatic Sea and the little medieval stone church (now an art gallery) with its small bell tower were heavenly. Stepping outside, you are right on the St. Stefano terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the famous Lama Monachile Beach. The location is unbeatable, walking distance from beaches, water activities (kayaking/paddleboarding, sea caves boat tours), and perfect for strolling through the rest of Old Town with its great restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Every morning, Carlo could be seen carefully setting tables under a grapevine pergola for a high-quality, delicious Mediterranean breakfast buffet for his guests. We also loved the orecchiette pasta-making class taught by Carlo, who is a talented chef; we prepped the tomatoes for the sauce and made the pasta while enjoying his homemade appetizers and excellent local wine. Carlo even arranged airport transport and opened breakfast early on the day of our departure. We left with unforgettable memories that we will always cherish. We felt like family and will absolutely be back! We send our heartfelt gratitude to Carlo, Annalisa, and their staff.
