The Canterbury is in a good location close to a shopping centre. The room is spacious and bed very comfortable. The Executive Queen room was very quiet facing the inner courtyard, with no traffic noise. The staff were friendly and sought to give assistance. It was a comfortable stay and convenient if visiting people in the Eastern suburbs.
There needs to be more attention to maintenance. In my room there was a broken lamp and chair. Although reasonably clean, the carpet needs better vacuuming around the edges and the shower requires better cleaning.
