Palm Meadows Resort

The many pools are amazing. We utilised restaurant and the children’s area every day. The breakfast was especially good. The hotel staff were all very friendly, welcoming and made the stay really great.

We booked a room that specifically said it had a small futon bed in it for our three year old, this was confirmed in a message to me by the hotel before we arrived. This futon bed did not exist and when i asked no one was able to explain why i was told there would be a futon bed and the staff were very avoidant about the issue, i was unable to speak to anyone or resolve this. I am upset about this as it affected our sleep and our stay, having the small extra bed for our child was one of the reasons we booked this hotel over others. That being said we thought the hotel was fabulous, i wish this issue had been resolved so we could leave a 100% positive reveiw.

The property is very well maintained and clean

The rooms need a little upkeep

Overall Ambience was good. Staff was reasonably good, until the very last day with the Checkout process.

As part of the Checkout Process, I didn't appreciate that they sent someone to check the room for any consumption when I was still there, after they had asked me if I had consumed anything, which I answered "No". After checking, during checkout, the person still asks me the same question - did I have anything from Mini Bar. This is after them sending someone to my room while I was still there, to verify and confirm that nothing has been consumed. I told him, you have confirmed that there is no consumption, and still you are asking me. He didn't have anything to say. I found that absolutely, non trust worthy.

Property is just mid range and not a 5* experiment

There is no hotel lobby. The checkin service very poor and definitely not a 5* experience
