Terra del Valle Bed & Breakfast

This was my husband and my third stay at Terra del Valle. Since the first time it has been our favorite in Valle de Guadalupe. The B&B has only 5 rooms and it books up quickly. We were disappointed several times, so now we are careful to plan well in advance. The location is close to a number of excellent wineries and restaurants but not the "hustle and bustle". The road is good--most of it paved. Very, very nice is the electric car charger and NO CHARGE for using it. Don Ignacio, the owner, is thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. The place is charming--authentic--in the middle of an orange grove. The fresh orange juice at breakfast is unbelievably sweet and delicious--the eggs from the resident hens.

This is the most idyllic and perfect place to stay in the Valle if you want a real authentic experience of what staying in the Valle is about- supporting the people that work so hard to make it a beautiful place, trying the delicious products that they so diligently and and arduously cultivate, and feeling right at home!

The garden was nice and well maintained. The room was large. They give you the code for the security gate so you can let yourself in and out. The pool looked nice but I didn’t use it because I stayed in February.

The room smelled of sewer. The couch (sofa bed) was dated. No microwave. No TV. No refrigerator in the room, but you could use the one in the communal dining room. The hot tub foam parts were deteriorated (not something I would jump into). No view of the valley. My friends stayed at a place nearby for the same price that was pristine and with all the accoutrements. There was a lot of confusion about the price and the tax etc. The map in Booking app is wrong.
