Quiet, clean and very nice staff!

Great location. Room is extremely spacious. Breakfast was great. Appreciated the additional amenities eg laundry facilities. Staff were very friendly.

This hotel is clearly connected to and linked to the massive convention center across the street and the nearby mall as such provides amenities for longer stays. It is immaculate on the inside and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is expansive and good. The room, for what it provided, was fine in general with a very large bathroom and a television that took over the center of the room. The kitchen was well equipped and rather large as well and accessible.

What I was rather surprised by was the exorbitant cost of staying. I recognize that Providence is a city that is busy with summer tourism and business--however, a basic room/suite here should not cost as much as it did for us--especially during a weekday when no conventions were happening. The added taxes made our stay one of the most expensive of my hotel stays in the year and I travel throughout the world staying for much less in far grander accommodations. The couch pull-out bed (yes as the "second bed"), for example, was barely usable but manageable. I also should not have to pay $44 a night for parking when the rooms are so costly to begin with. I have spent less on both a room and parking at 5 star hotels in New York City. And yet...the hotel was full so clearly I am in the minority.
