Hotel Akash - Luxury Hotel In McLeodganj

I stayed at Hotel Akash for 10 days and it was like a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the owner Mr Sharma, who went out of his way to help me with booking transport. The rooms are very clean, quiet and spacious and I enjoyed a room with spectacular views of the hills and valleys. The hotel is very close to many cafes and shops and a lovely walk to the Dalai Lama's temple.

The bedding was neatly made, and the bathroom was kept clean. The room offered a view of the beautiful Triund ; even during the monsoon season, it was delightful simply to watch the scenery shift and change from morning till evening. The staff efficiently met all requests, and the owner, in particular, was incredibly attentive and considerate, which gave me great peace of mind as a traveler. Thank you. The location : The hotel is situated roughly halfway between Main Chowk and the Dalai Lama Temple, offering easy access to numerous shops and restaurants as one moves up and down the area; it was also convenient for walking along the temple's Kora circuit in the mornings and evenings.

Due to the mountainous terrain of McLeod Ganj, you will inevitably face repeated ups and downs throughout the day wherever you go—though you might as well view it as a workout. However, given the location of the accommodations (a situation common to most places there), once you step outside, you must be prepared for the constant honking of vehicles navigating the narrow roads and the need to frequently step aside to let traffic pass.

I stayed here several times n had a gteat stay. Budget friendly,located in middle of Macleodganj, conveniently located near main square, Dalai Rama Temple, many restaurant and shops. The owner is so kind. He gave me a lot of information i need and made me feel comfortable. There is a spacious restaurant and cafe on the rooftop, so you can enjoy a meal with a great mountain view without having to go far.
