This is a true homestay! The host family is incredibly generous, often eager to share meals with their guests. Lots of cute animals. Super friendly family over all. If you want to get a taste of what life in Thai Nguyen is like, I believe this is a great place to stay. Also, they gave me a bike to use for free during my stay! This enhanced the experience of my stay so much. Since they are a little far, the bike made it possible to go into the city to eat at lots of good restaurants, explore, go to the museum, etc. With the bike, I actually was able to travel to the tea plantations and the reservoir nearby. I truly felt they made it possible for me to explore a good chunk of what Thai Nguyen has to offer (both inside and outside the city).

If your not an animal person or NEED to be in the middle of the city, not for you. (: Personally, it worked well for me.
